Ukrainian Railways has introduced a new train to Lviv
Ukrzaliznytsia has scheduled an additional high-speed train No. 743/744 on the Kyiv–Lviv–Kyiv route for June 23 and 24, 2026. This decision was made due to the traditionally high demand on this route, which remains the most popular rail route in the country.
According to the company, 21,000 passengers used this route last week alone. The service will be operated by the “Intercity+” high-speed train, which will take about six hours to complete the journey.
Ukrzaliznytsia emphasized that this option is currently the fastest rail connection between Kyiv and Lviv, and the additional trains will help meet passenger demand amid a shortage of tickets during peak travel periods.
This was reported by the Ukrzaliznytsia press service.
