Odessa has approved the opening of seven more beaches
In Odesa, officials have approved the opening of seven more beach areas for recreation and relaxation.
“The opening of seven more beach areas for recreation in Odesa has been approved,” the statement reads.
In total, citizens are officially permitted to visit 48 beach areas in the region.
Of these, 47 are located in Odesa, and one is in Chornomorsk.
This was announced by Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional State Administration.
As a reminder, from July 30 to August 6, the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine tested 93 water samples from surface water bodies at the country’s beaches. According to the results of microbiological analyses, 10 samples (10.7%) did not meet the established standards for microbial contamination.
In Kyiv, the results of the latest water quality inspection at municipal beaches were released.
