The Presidential Office discussed with partners ways to expedite the delivery of missiles for air defense
Deputy Head of the Office of the President Pavlo Palisa held a meeting with representatives of partner countries’ embassies, during which they discussed accelerating the delivery of interceptor missiles for Ukraine’s air defense systems.
According to Palisa, Russia’s latest massive attacks indicate not only that the intensity of the strikes remains high but also that their scale is increasing and various types of weapons are being used to overwhelm Ukraine’s air defense.
During the meeting, the Ukrainian side briefed its allies on the consequences of the latest Russian attacks, the situation on the front lines, and the current needs of the Armed Forces.
The main topic of the talks was accelerating the delivery of interceptor missiles for all existing air defense systems.
Palis emphasized that strengthening Ukraine’s air defense is not only a matter of defense but also of protecting millions of civilians, critical infrastructure, and the country’s energy system.
“The longer Russia retains the ability to escalate its aerial terror with impunity, the more convinced it will be of the effectiveness of this tactic. Every additional air defense system, every interceptor missile, and every decision made in a timely manner means lives saved for Ukrainians,” he stated.
According to the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, Ukraine continues to work with partners to expedite the delivery of critical air defense assets.
