Temperatures in Ukraine will rise to 28° on September 9
On September 9, sunny and dry weather is expected across Ukraine, with temperatures rising to 28° in some areas. Meanwhile, smog persists in Kyiv due to fires caused by the Russian attack.
On September 9, under the influence of a high-pressure system, partly cloudy weather without precipitation is expected, accompanied by light to moderate winds. As the cool air retreats eastward, warmer air will move in—and it will warm up the most during the day in the western regions. Winds will be predominantly southerly, 5–10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from 7–12°, and 10–15° in the south and far west of the country; daytime temperatures will range from 23–28°, and 20–25° in the east and northeast.
On Wednesday, September 9, Kyiv will see dry, clear, and warm weather. Daytime temperatures in the capital will range from 25–27°. The high-pressure system is characterized by calm or light winds, so the dispersion of smoke from fires will remain minimal for now—smog has blanketed the capital. The situation will improve as early as September 10, when gusts of west and southwest winds will strengthen to 10–14 m/s.
