Drapaty revoked more than 30 obsolete General Staff orders
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatiy recently revoked more than 30 General Staff orders that were no longer relevant. The documents governed the training of military personnel and required a significant amount of formal reporting.

“Outdated training programs, obsolete shooting courses, and physical training concepts dating back a decade have been rescinded. Dozens of interim documents regarding amendments, which only cluttered the Armed Forces’ regulatory framework, have been rescinded. In many instances, legal conflicts have been resolved between actual training standards—crystallized during full-scale war—and outdated requirements from the 2016–2020 ATO/JFO era,” the statement reads.
According to Sarantsev, field commanders are no longer required to fill out reports or carry out activities based on standards and guidelines that have lost their practical relevance in modern warfare. He explained that this frees up their time for actual work.
“This is truly a great ‘fall cleanup.’ The army is getting rid of outdated baggage so it can operate faster, more modernly, and without unnecessary bureaucracy,” added the head of the communications department of the 14th Army Corps.
