Kravchenko's first deputy has officially resigned from the prosecutor's office
First Deputy Prosecutor General Maria Vdovichenko, who is under investigation by anti-corruption agencies, has resigned from her post and left the prosecutor’s office.
The press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General confirmed that she had submitted her resignation, and the corresponding order has already been signed. September 8 was Vdovichenko’s last day of work in the prosecutor’s office.
“Ukrainska Pravda” reported this, citing the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
During searches conducted as part of the “Carthage” case, materials were discovered in Vdovichenko’s possession—whose brother works in the Russian Federation’s prosecutor’s office—that may indicate surveillance of the leadership of anti-corruption agencies, their family members, and subordinates.
Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, who is implicated in the “Carthage” case, has also reportedly submitted a letter of resignation.
Kiper is implicated in the new “Carthage” investigation by the NABU and the SAPO. Meanwhile, during searches of Vdovichenko’s premises—whose brother works in the Russian Federation’s prosecutor’s office—materials were discovered that may indicate surveillance of the leadership of anti-corruption agencies, their family members, and subordinates.
