Further increase in diesel prices is expected in Ukraine

In Ukraine, diesel prices are expected to rise further, which could amount to another UAH 2.5 per liter. Director of the consulting group A95 Sergiy Kuyun noted that the retail price has already increased by UAH 1.5 per liter, and applications for new price adjustments may be implemented in the next few weeks. The expert believes that the increase will not reach UAH 4, and the expected changes will affect only diesel fuel.

Kuyun also noted that the impact of frequent power outages on fuel demand is currently difficult to assess, but is unlikely to exceed 10%. At the same time, the expert believes that an acute shortage of fuel is not expected, although stocks will remain low in the coming month. At the same time, no changes in gasoline and liquefied gas prices are expected in the near future.
