Ukraine has begun accepting applications for the national internship program for people aged 50 and older, “Experience Matters,” which is designed to help participants return to work, change careers, or find new formal employment.

This was announced by the State Employment Service.

The program is being implemented by the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture in collaboration with the State Employment Service and partners as part of the National Accessibility Strategy for 2026.

Participants are offered a training program, quick meetings with employers, and a 10-day internship.

Applications can be submitted in person at the nearest employment center or online via the State Employment Service website. This option will also become available through the “Diya” portal and the “Obriy” system in the future.

The pilot phase of the program will run until October 2026.
