Ukraine has developed the Zoretlit v5, a drone designed to intercept Shahed jet drones
The Ukrainian company “Vluchnik” has unveiled a new interceptor drone, the “Zorelit v5,” designed to combat jet-powered and other attack and reconnaissance UAVs.
The drone can reach speeds of up to 416 km/h, has a flight range of up to 47 km, and is designed to intercept targets such as reconnaissance drones, the “Gerbera,” “Geran-2,” as well as the jet-powered “Geran-3” and “Geran-4.”
The new model is based on the “Zorelot v4,” which is standardized according to NATO specifications. The interceptor can be equipped with an internet-based control module, and the version with artificial intelligence provides target illumination in the thermal imager and automatic guidance during the final stage of the attack. The drone is currently available for order under contracts with military units and is undergoing the codification process.

In the Russian special economic zone “Alabuga” in Tatarstan, underground production facilities are being built that could be used to manufacture attack drones. According to the OSINT project Dnipro Osint, satellite imagery indicates the creation of approximately 42,000 square meters of underground space.
Ukraine currently faces a significant shortage of air defense missiles, as well as ammunition for fighter aircraft. Aviation expert Kostyantyn Kryvolap stated that the transfer of 10 missiles from Bundeswehr warehouses will not solve the problem but will only partially replenish stocks.
