A separate design bureau dedicated to the development of re-entry vehicles has been established in Ukraine

The Ukrainian company "BlueBird Tech," in collaboration with one of the country's leading research and design bureaus, has begun developing and preparing for the mass production of the first Ukrainian guided aerial bombs (GABs).

This was reported by the press service of BlueBird Tech.

The project is being implemented as a direct response to current challenges on the front lines and the urgent need of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to scale up high-precision strike capabilities.

The best Ukrainian engineers in the field of rocket engineering have been brought in for this large-scale industrial project. Currently, the team of specialists has already moved on to the direct phase of executing the first complex engineering tasks.

The new production facility will be based on the maximum utilization of the country’s domestic scientific potential.

Representatives of the defense enterprise emphasize the importance of consolidating efforts to provide the army with effective weaponry.

“We are joining forces with leading Ukrainian engineers and scientists to systematically break down rocket engineering challenges and analyze which solutions are most critical for Ukraine today. Therefore, first and foremost, we will begin mass-producing Ukrainian-made guided aerial bombs,” BlueBird Tech noted.

It is worth recalling that in May of this year, one of the participants in the Ukrainian defense cluster “Brave1” presented the first domestically produced guided aerial bomb, the development of which took 17 months.

This high-tech munition was developed from scratch by Ukrainian specialists and is designed to effectively destroy enemy fortifications, command posts, and other critical enemy targets.
