Ukraine has developed the Sweetheart reconnaissance drone, which has a range of up to 150 km

The Ukrainian company “General Chereshnya” has developed a new reconnaissance drone, the Sweetheart, which is capable of carrying out missions up to 150 km behind enemy lines.

According to the developers, the drone is resistant to electronic warfare and does not require special equipment for launch—it can be launched manually without catapults or launchers.

The drone weighs about 4 kg, has a wingspan of 1.7 meters, and can remain airborne for up to three hours. Sweetheart is equipped with a digital video link, a zoom camera, and a laser rangefinder.

The developers also claim that the drone has low acoustic signature—at altitudes above 50 meters, it is virtually inaudible from the ground.

The drone is currently undergoing combat testing alongside units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Mass production is expected to begin in the fall of 2026.
