Vitaliy Kozlovsky faced a wave of criticism over a post about the restoration

Ukrainian singer Vitaliy Kozlovsky sparked outrage among some social media users after posting a video from the Carpathians showing his recovery with the help of IV drips.

In his post, the artist shared footage from a medical facility and briefly captioned it: “Recovery in the Carpathians.” This was followed by a wave of critical and sarcastic comments under the post, particularly from military personnel and veterans.

Users questioned the necessity of such “recovery,” pointing out that true rehabilitation after injuries is undergone by soldiers returning from the front lines. Some commenters also sarcastically suggested launching a fundraiser for the singer’s treatment.

Kozlovsky himself did not publicly respond to the criticism.

Ukrainian singer Vitaliy Kozlovsky was compared on social media to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The artist reacted to this with humor, explaining that the resemblance is only apparent when he is tired or has problems with his voice.

Paintings by the Kherson-based artist were also discovered in occupied Crimea.
