Women were offered the same travel restrictions as men when leaving Ukraine
A petition calling for the same restrictions on women traveling abroad as those imposed on men during martial law did not gain public support.
The initiative was registered on March 23, but in more than three months, it gathered only 14 signatures out of the 25,000 required for consideration by the Cabinet of Ministers.
The author of the petition believed that such restrictions could help ensure equal rights and responsibilities for men and women, reduce the number of divorces, and curb the outflow of the working-age population abroad.
Due to a lack of the necessary support, the issue of revising the current rules on women’s travel abroad is not currently being considered.
