Tests were conducted in Ukraine on the Estonian P4P high-speed missile interceptor drone, capable of destroying aerial targets traveling at speeds of approximately 500 km/h.
This was reported by the Estonian developer Alatyr Group.
It is noted that the P4P combines the characteristics of a missile and an electric multicopter. The drone performs a vertical takeoff using four electric motors, after which a rocket booster is activated to rapidly close in on the target.
The developers claim that this system is designed to intercept high-speed aerial objects, particularly jet-powered drones.
Alatyr Group is based in Tallinn and specializes in defense technologies.
Recently, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine certified and approved for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine three fiber-optic FPV systems manufactured by enterprises of JSC “Ukrainian Defense Industry.”
