Hot weather continues in Ukraine, with rain and thunderstorms possible in some areas
On Wednesday, July 1, partly cloudy skies are expected across Ukraine, with brief showers and thunderstorms in some regions. At the same time, hot weather will persist in most regions.
No precipitation is expected in Ukraine; only in the far west of the country will there be brief showers and thunderstorms during the day, with hail and squalls of 15–20 m/s in some areas. Winds will be from the east and southeast at 5–10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from 18–23°, daytime temperatures from 29–34°, with intense heat of 35–38° in some parts of the southwest.

On Wednesday, July 1, Kyiv will be partly cloudy. No precipitation. The wind will be from the east at 5–10 m/s. Temperatures across the region will range from 18–23° at night to 29–34° during the day; in Kyiv, temperatures will range from 21–23° at night to 31–33° during the day, according to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

An abnormal heatwave in Europe has led to at least 18 deaths.
