In Uzhhorod, a 19-year-old woman driving a BMW lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a restaurant
On the night of September 17, a traffic accident occurred on Mykola Bobyak Street in Uzhhorod. A 19-year-old female driver of a BMW lost control of the vehicle, causing it to crash into the “Uzbek Plov” restaurant. The woman was sober at the time of the accident.
The Transcarpathian Regional Patrol Police reported that the accident occurred around 1:00 a.m. The driver was sober.
“There were no injuries. An administrative report was filed against the driver under Article 124 of the Code of Administrative Offenses—violation of traffic rules resulting in damage to a vehicle, cargo, streets, road structures, or other property,” law enforcement officials noted.
The penalty under this article is a fine of 850 UAH. The driver faces a suspension of her driver’s license for a period of 6 months to 1 year. She must also compensate the city and the restaurant for the damages caused.
