In Ternopil, five people were charged with attacking military personnel at the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Training

In Ternopil, law enforcement officials notified five local residents of their status as suspects in connection with a conflict involving military personnel from the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center. In total, investigators and operatives identified six active participants in the incident that occurred on August 25 on Les Kurbas Street.

Charges were brought under Part 2 of Article 350 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for the intentional infliction of minor bodily injury on employees of a state institution in connection with the performance of their official duties. The conflict arose while military personnel were escorting a man of draft age to a service vehicle: passersby blocked the vehicle, after which a scuffle broke out, resulting in injuries to the TCC employees. The situation was resolved by police units and a special operations team that were called to the scene.

Regional Police Chief Serhiy Zyubanenko emphasized that law enforcement officers are continuing their work to identify other individuals involved, adding that no emotions or positions exempt anyone from responsibility for the use of violence.

This was reported by the Ternopil Regional Police, according to “Ukrinform.”

In Ternopil on the evening of August 25, while identifying individuals who might be evading military service, a group of people attacked employees of the Territorial Recruitment Center. As a result, three servicemen were injured.

In Lviv, a man stabbed a police officer during a stop-and-search operation; the court sentenced him to four years’ probation.
