The High Qualification Commission of Ukraine will move into a new building in Kyiv after six years in temporary quarters

The High Qualification Commission of Ukraine will move into a new building in Kyiv after six years in temporary quarters

The government has decided to provide the High Anti-Corruption Court with new premises in Kyiv. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

According to her, the building meets all technical and security requirements and will provide the necessary conditions for the court’s continued operation and development.

Previously, this building housed separate departments of the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture. The transfer of the building will take place in stages so as not to disrupt the work of government agencies.

The issue of providing the High Anti-Corruption Court with a permanent location has remained relevant since its establishment. As noted by the High Council of Justice in its 2025 report on the state of judicial independence, this issue is of strategic importance for the effective adjudication of high-level corruption cases and the fulfillment of Ukraine’s international obligations.

For over six years, the High Anti-Corruption Court has administered justice in several scattered buildings, some of which were temporary and did not meet modern safety and functionality requirements.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a series of decrees appointing 15 judges to appellate, local, administrative, and commercial courts.

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine (HACCAC) fully upheld the legality of previously imposed preventive measures against three sitting Supreme Court judges.
