Easter in Ukraine will be rainy but warmer
Rainy weather is expected across Ukraine this Easter, though temperatures will gradually rise.
This was reported by meteorologist Natalka Didenko.
According to the forecast, on April 11, daytime temperatures will range from +4 to +9 degrees. On April 12, it will warm up to +8 to +12 degrees, and in the east of the country—up to +14 degrees.
At the same time, no precipitation is expected in the Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions. Rain of varying intensity is expected in most other regions.
Rain is also forecast for Kyiv on Easter, which is likely to intensify in the afternoon. At night, temperatures will range from +1 to +3 degrees, with possible frosts of 0 to -2 degrees in some areas. During the day, temperatures in the capital are expected to reach +8 to +9 degrees.
“In Kyiv on Easter, rain is expected at times, more likely starting at noon, and lighter in the afternoon,” noted Natalia Didenko.
On Saturday, April 11, cold weather will persist in Ukraine, with frosts, precipitation, and wet snow in some areas. At the same time, forecasters predict a slight rise in air temperature during the daytime.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center released a forecast for the second month of spring, according to which temperatures and precipitation will remain within the climatic norm.
