Video: In Chernivtsi, a bus driver insulted military personnel and their families
In Chernivtsi, the driver of city bus No. 14, which runs on the “Drizhdzhzavod–Kalinivsky Market” route, found himself at the center of a scandal after making offensive remarks about Ukrainian soldiers and their families.
The incident occurred during the trip. A video shows a verbal altercation breaking out between the driver and a female passenger, after which the man began making derogatory remarks about Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemembers.
In particular, the driver claimed that Ukrainian defenders were allegedly “fighting for bandits” and ended up on the front lines “because of their own stupidity.” He also said that he has no sympathy for those who are fighting, and considers the men who stay with their families to be heroes.
Furthermore, according to eyewitnesses, the driver stated that he did not want to transport relatives of military personnel. He reacted aggressively to passengers’ comments and used profanity.
