The Transcarpathian Regional Trade Union Council has denied rumors of searches at its branches
The Transcarpathian Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support has denied reports of alleged searches conducted at its facilities. They described the reports circulating online as untrue.
Representatives of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center urged the public to rely only on official sources of information and not to spread unverified information.
"In light of reports circulating in the media and on social media regarding alleged large-scale searches at the territorial recruitment and social support centers in Zakarpattia Oblast, we would like to state the following. As of now, reports of searches being conducted in units subordinate to the Transcarpathian Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center are untrue,” the statement reads.
The Transcarpathian Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center and Social Support Department urged media representatives and citizens not to spread unverified information and to rely exclusively on official sources.
Earlier, blogger and Uzhhorod City Council member Vitaliy Hlahola reported that searches were being conducted at the Mukachevo Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support in connection with the alleged illegal discharge of approximately 1,500 conscripts.
This was reported on Facebook by the Territorial Military Commissariat and the Special Forces.
