Video: A Turkish dry cargo ship, attacked by Russia, has capsized and is sinking in the Gulf of Odessa

The Turkish civilian vessel GOLDEN LEO, which was carrying corn and was struck by three X-59/X-69 cruise missiles a week ago while leaving port, capsized in the Odesa Gulf on July 26 and began to sink.

As a result of that hostile attack and the subsequent fire on board, ten people were killed, and eight more sailors were evacuated and taken to hospitals in Odesa. The ship, with its cargo on board, is currently sinking in a deep-water area of the sea.

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs summoned Vladimir Ladanov, the Russian chargé d’affaires, expressing “unequivocal condemnation” of the Russian strike on the civilian dry cargo ship MV Golden Leo near the port of Odesa. Ten people were killed in the attack, including four Indian sailors and a Ukrainian pilot. 

The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine emphasized that such attacks pose a danger to international shipping, undermine the stability of global trade, and threaten global food security.
