Members of the TCC stormed into homes and beat people in Kharkiv — State Bureau of Investigation

Officials from the State Bureau of Investigations have charged a group of military personnel from one of the district military registration and enlistment offices in Kharkiv, as well as military personnel from other units who acted in concert.

This was reported by the SBI.

According to the investigation, the suspects, under the pretext of conducting awareness campaigns, broke into a private home, identified themselves as SBU officers, and used force against civilians.

It is noted that they threatened people with weapons and demanded confessions of alleged involvement in illegal drug trafficking.

After that, two victims were forcibly taken to the TCC premises, where they were beaten and intimidated with the use of weapons.

In addition, one of the men was forced to sign documents revoking his deferment from mobilization, and summonses were handed to him under duress.

The State Bureau of Investigation emphasizes that holding military personnel and officials accountable for abuse of power and human rights violations is one of the agency’s priorities under martial law.

On April 21, the Security Service of Ukraine detained military personnel from one of the district territorial recruitment and social support centers in Odesa.

It is reported that the detention of TCC representatives took place on Balkivska Street and involved a chase and gunfire.
