Service members will be able to sign new contracts through the Army+ app
Ukrainian service members can now sign new service contracts directly through the "Army+" mobile app. The new service is already available in the "Services" section and is accessible to members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Special Transport Service.
The Ministry of Defense explained that the new “Contracts” feature significantly simplifies the process of completing paperwork and submitting reports.
To sign up for an “Infantry Assault” contract, for example, a service member must:
select the type of contract and the desired position;
enter the military unit number;
indicate their military rank and current position;
confirm the terms of the contract and provide a contact phone number
After that, the report is automatically sent for review to the selected military unit. The servicemember does not need to provide their immediate commander’s Army ID. You can track the status of the document’s review in the “Reports” section.
If the selected military unit is not participating in the new contract program, the app will notify you. In this case, the servicemember may submit a report requesting a transfer to a unit that has joined the contract service program.
For “Combat” and “Basic” contracts, the procedure is generally similar, but there is one important difference.
In this case, the servicemember must provide the nine-digit Army ID number of their immediate commander.
After submitting such a report, the document is forwarded to the Personnel Service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, where specialists prepare the contract. After that, representatives of the ministry contact the servicemember, clarify the necessary details, and invite them to review the terms of service and sign the relevant documents.
The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that the digitization of the contract signing process is intended to simplify interaction between service members and personnel authorities and expedite the processing of necessary documents.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Earlier, a new survey was launched in the “Army+” app for military personnel regarding Ukrainian-made dry rations to understand how convenient they are in real-world service conditions and what should be changed. The responses received are planned to be used to update the composition and packaging of rations for the Defense Forces.
