For the first time during the war: the Airborne Forces and Azov conducted joint command-post exercises
The 1st Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine’s “Azov” Brigade and the 7th Rapid Response Brigade of the Special Forces conducted their first joint command-and-staff exercises during combat operations.
This was reported by the units.
The exercises took place with the support of the Security Assistance Group-Ukraine (SAG-U).
The main objective was to coordinate actions between units with adjacent areas of responsibility on the front line.
Officers practiced joint operational planning and decision coordination in combat conditions.
Commander of the 7th Airborne Corps Yevhen Lasiychuk emphasized the need for rapid and effective decision-making.
In turn, Azov Commander Denys Prokopenko stated that the cooperation is aimed at creating a unified system of reconnaissance, firepower, and mining to prevent a breach of the defense line.
