On Monday, April 6, a meeting of the “Servant of the People” parliamentary faction will take place.
The political party’s spokesperson, Yulia Paliychuk, announced the planned meeting in a comment to Ukrinform, confirming the deputies’ intention to discuss key issues on the national agenda.
The participation of the Cabinet of Ministers’ top leadership is expected to be the central topic of the meeting. In particular, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, who took the helm of the government last July, is expected to attend the meeting.
Along with the head of government, key ministers from the economic and European integration portfolios will join the discussion with lawmakers.
Among those invited is Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Taras Kachka.
Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko and Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture Oleksiy Sobolev will also attend the faction meeting.
The main focus of lawmakers and government officials will be on issues of financial stability and the fulfillment of European integration requirements.
Lawmakers plan to agree on joint steps to support the national economy amid current challenges.
As a reminder, “Servant of the People” will hold a convention to approve technical amendments to the party’s charter.
Additionally, a new political force led by Getmantsev has overtaken “Servant of the People.”
