A resident of Konotop who offered to sell her children has been arrested
The Konotop District Prosecutor’s Office has filed an indictment against a 47-year-old woman, who faces 7 to 9 years in prison for organizing the illegal departure of a man subject to military service abroad.
The defendant offered the man 200,000 hryvnias to establish paternity over her two children, which would have allowed him to leave the country unimpeded during martial law.
Law enforcement officers from the Konotop District Police Department stopped this illegal scheme in its tracks while the documents were being processed at a government office, where the woman was assisting the man with the paperwork.

In the Kyiv region, doctors were caught issuing fictitious psychiatric diagnoses to draft dodgers.
As a reminder, the organizer of a scheme to smuggle draft dodgers out of the country for $12,000 was detained in Kyiv.
