Zelenskyy awarded the 107th Separate Aviation Wing of the Air Force with an honorary distinction

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the 107th Separate Aviation Wing of the Ukrainian Air Force the honorary distinction “For Courage and Bravery.”

The decree states: “In order to duly honor the courage and heroism demonstrated in defending Ukraine’s state sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, I hereby decree: To award the 107th Separate Aviation Wing of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine the honorary distinction ‘For Courage and Bravery.’”

The honorary distinction “For Courage and Bravery” was awarded to the 107th Separate Aviation Wing for the courage and heroism demonstrated during the defense of Ukraine’s state sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.

The head of state signed the corresponding decree in recognition of the courage and heroism of military personnel in defending Ukraine, according to the president’s website.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded state honors to 135 defenders of Ukraine, 77 of them posthumously.

In addition, Zelenskyy awarded scholarships to the children of slain journalists.

Zelenskyy honored 34 Ukrainians on Volunteer Day.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded state honors to 362 military personnel, 176 of them posthumously. The awards were granted for courage, dedication, and the defense of the country’s sovereignty. Among the honors were orders, medals, and the “Cross of Combat Merit.”
