Kyivstar has fully restored operations at its data center, which was damaged by a Russian attack

The mobile operator “Kyivstar” has fully completed emergency repair work and restored operations at the data center, whose equipment was damaged as a result of the Russian Federation’s attack on September 11.

The company’s specialists replaced and reconfigured the damaged technical components, restoring key infrastructure elements to normal operation. This eliminated the main risks to the stability of the telecommunications network that had arisen as a result of the hostile shelling.

As a result of hostile shelling on September 11 in Kyiv, the office of the engineering team at the mobile operator “Kyivstar” was damaged. No company employees were injured in the incident, and the mobile network itself continues to operate and provide services to subscribers as usual.

Russia—the aggressor state—struck the headquarters of Kyivstar, Ukraine’s largest mobile operator, in Kyiv on September 27. The company told local media that there were no casualties or injuries as a result of the attack.
