Zelenskyy presented 25 certificates for apartments to Heroes of Ukraine
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented 25 certificates for apartments to Heroes of Ukraine and the families of military personnel who were posthumously awarded this title. The housing will be provided to defenders and the families of fallen soldiers.

“Today we are continuing a tradition—a very important tradition of gratitude—our gratitude to the exemplary and strong soldiers of Ukraine, our Heroes, who have done the most and shown the greatest courage to defend Ukraine, to defend our land, and to defend our positions. Without exaggeration, every story of a Hero of Ukraine deserves to be remembered,” the head of state noted.

He highlighted the stories of Ukrainian infantrymen holding the front lines, combat pilots who skillfully carry out missions to ensure Russia loses equipment and personnel, and sappers who, under extremely difficult conditions, create formidable obstacles to Russian advances. Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine will remember the story of every Ukrainian Hero—scouts, special forces operatives, drone operators, remote-controlled vehicle operators, artillerymen, naval personnel, and air defense soldiers.

“Gratitude is what should accompany honor; it is an integral feature of a normal state, a normal society, and normal people. It is precisely this gratitude that we demonstrate when we fulfill our promise to provide a home for every hero. And may the apartments we are providing today serve as symbols that Ukraine is truly grateful — a state that honors its heroes, cares for its heroes, and knows that without the courage of Ukrainian soldiers, our state simply would not exist,” the President emphasized.

Zelenskyy stressed that it is important to remember all those who gave their lives so that Ukraine could exist.
A moment of silence was observed to honor the memory of the fallen soldiers.
The Head of State presented 25 certificates entitling recipients to apartments. Specifically, these were awarded to service members of the Air Force, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Airborne Assault Troops, the Territorial Defense Forces, the Ground Forces, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the National Guard of Ukraine. These are defenders who distinguished themselves in battles in the Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Kherson, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions, as well as during their participation in the Kursk Offensive.
