Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed Ukrainians with an important warning. According to him, intelligence data indicates that Russia may carry out a new large-scale attack as early as tonight.
The head of state made this statement during his evening address. Zelenskyy urged people not to disregard safety rules and to pay close attention to air raid sirens. “We know from intelligence that a massive strike could happen tonight. Please, I beg you, pay attention to the sirens,” the president emphasized.
Following another wave of Russian attacks, Ukrainian authorities are once again urging citizens not to risk their lives and to immediately take shelter in case of danger. In his address, Zelenskyy also thanked international partners who support Ukraine and continue to put pressure on Russia.
The president specifically noted the leaders of countries who condemned the latest Russian strike on Ukrainian cities and supported the tightening of sanctions against the aggressor nation. According to the head of state, it is now extremely important to maintain international unity in support of Ukraine. “All partners together, everyone in Europe, must continue to work to ensure we have missiles for our air defense, the necessary systems, vital intelligence, and other resources that help save people’s lives,” Zelenskyy said.
The President emphasized that Russian attacks once again demonstrate how crucial the development of air defense systems remains for both Ukraine and all of Europe. In his view, EU countries must seriously consider creating their own robust system of protection against missile attacks. Zelenskyy noted that the issue of security today concerns not only Ukraine.
According to him, modern threats are forcing European countries to seek new solutions to protect their citizens and critical infrastructure. The President emphasized that Russia continues to use missile terror as a tool of pressure and intimidation, so strengthening defense capabilities remains one of the top priorities.
Amid warnings of a possible new strike, Ukrainians are urged to follow official announcements, not to ignore air raid sirens, and to know in advance where the nearest shelter is located.
The State Emergency Service and military administrations remind the public: even a few minutes spent traveling to a safe place can save lives.
