Zelenskyy presented the 43rd Mechanized Brigade with the "For Courage and Bravery" award
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the 43rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army’s Ground Forces with the honorary distinction “For Courage and Bravery.” The award was granted for combat merits and contributions to the defense of the state.
The corresponding decree No. 419/2026, dated May 20, was published on the President’s website.
The document states that the aim is to honor the courage and heroism demonstrated in the defense of Ukraine’s state sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
Zelenskyy announced the imminentopening of negotiation clusters with the EU.
