Zelenskyy announced an update to the plan to protect Ukraine's grain exports
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the government is updating its plan to protect grain exports. At the same time, the government is working to diversify its export and import operations and identify additional logistics solutions.
According to Zelenskyy, a meeting was held on Friday with the participation of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapaty, Acting Minister of Defense Yevhen Khmara, Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi, and other government officials. During the meeting, they discussed steps to strengthen the protection of Ukrainian cities, villages, southern regions, and critical infrastructure.
“We are updating the plan to protect grain exports,” the president emphasized.
Zelenskyy also noted the coordination between the leadership of the security and defense sectors and thanked Drapaty and Khmara for their cooperation. According to him, the team at the Office of the President will continue to work on identifying and implementing the necessary solutions, while the government is preparing economic and infrastructure alternatives to strengthen the country’s resilience.
Separately, the president announced that the Cabinet of Ministers will work to maximize the diversification of exports and imports, ensure the Ukrainian market’s supply of fuel, develop additional export routes, and support domestic producers. Cooperation with partners and neighboring countries is also ongoing.
At the same time, Zelenskyy emphasized that strengthening air defense remains a top priority for Ukraine. He called on international partners to promptly implement the agreements reached and to increase their support for Ukraine in the area of air defense.

As a reminder, Zelenskyy warned that Russia is preparing a new massive strike against Ukraine.
On July 24, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Russian forces launched an attack on the Kyiv region with three Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles from the north. Air defense forces intercepted one missile; the other two struck the Bucha district.
Two Russian ballistic missiles struck a private sports complex in the Kyiv region, not a Ukrainian Armed Forces training ground. This was reported by Air Force spokesperson Yuriy Ignat.
