Zelenskyy was asked to involve Italy and Poland in peace initiatives
Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani called on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to involve not only France and Germany but also Italy and Poland in peace initiatives.
“To achieve a just peace, we should focus not on individual European states, but on the European Union as a whole,” Tajani said.
According to him, “we will continue to help Ukraine defend itself,” but without sending our own troops.
“Europe can do a great deal, but I believe that Zelenskyy should also focus not on individual European countries, but on all the member states of the European Union. We don’t need initiatives from small groups. I’m telling Zelenskyy this and giving him this advice as a friend of Ukraine: it’s wise to involve not only France and Germany, but also Italy and Poland,” the Italian foreign minister stated.
