The star of *Catch Kaidash* complained about her small pension

Nina Naboka, People’s Artist of Ukraine and actress in the TV series “Catching Kaidash,” said she is dissatisfied with her pension. The 69-year-old actress did not specify the exact amount of her pension payments but noted that increasing them would require gathering a significant number of documents. For now, Naboka continues to work and says that the money she earns is enough to live on.

Nina Naboka has worked in theater and film for many years. She was awarded the title of People’s Artist of Ukraine and is well known to a wide audience, particularly for her role in the TV series “Catching Kaidash.” At the same time, she declined to specify an exact amount.

According to Naboka, in order to secure a higher payment, one must go through the paperwork and prove one’s eligibility for an increase. “My pension is meager… You have to bring in all the paperwork, fight for it, and submit all the documentation to get a raise, but I’m too lazy,” the actress said.

Naboka noted that she’s still working, so she isn’t complaining about a lack of money. She also explained that she doesn’t want to waste time and energy fighting for a pension increase. “I’m still working for now. If my money goes toward the war effort—I’m fine with that, because I’m not going to fight over a penny. Let it go to the state; I’m working and I’m not greedy,” said Nina Naboka.

Other Ukrainian artists have also spoken about pensions

Nina Naboka isn’t the only Ukrainian artist who has spoken about the size of her pension payments. Singer Pavlo Zibrov previously spoke about his pension. According to him, he receives 8,400 hryvnias a month.

At the same time, Zibrov noted that it would be difficult for him to live on that money alone. Therefore, the singer continues to work and teach at the university. Naboka also remains active in her profession. She continues to act in films and perform in the theater, viewing her pension as a supplementary income rather than her primary source of income. In an interview with RBC-Ukraine, the actress said that her pension is modest.
