Dismissal through the "Diy" program for residents of the temporarily occupied territories: how it will work
The government has allowed Ukrainians whose employers remain in occupied territories or in combat zones to resign remotely.
This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
The new mechanism addresses the issue where people could not officially find new employment because they were technically still in an employment relationship with their employer.
Now, you can submit a resignation request online via the “Diya” app.
The system automatically:
— records the date of resignation;
— notifies the employer;
— updates information in state registries.
This will allow people who have left occupied territories or combat zones to legally find new jobs.
Previously, they were effectively not working but remained “tied” to their old job due to legal formalities.
Previously, the “Dія” app launched beta testing of a new service—submitting applications for one-time financial assistance for active-duty military personnel.
A new inclusive section has been launched on the Diya.Business portal.
Ukraine has authorized the temporary reservation of defense industry employees through “Diya.”
