79th Air Assault Brigade destroys vehicle with occupiers in central Myrnohrad
FPV drone operators of the 79th Separate Air Assault Tavriia Brigade successfully destroyed a vehicle carrying Russian soldiers in the central part of Myrnohrad, Donetsk region.
The brigade reported the successful operation on its Telegram channel, sharing video evidence of the enemy vehicle being hit.
The operation took place under adverse weather conditions, which the occupiers attempted to use for rapid movement through the city.
According to the military, five Russian occupiers tried to exploit the poor weather to enter central Myrnohrad at high speed.
Despite the challenging meteorological conditions, Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance detected the enemy vehicle and quickly relayed its coordinates to the strike drone operators.
Troops of the 79th Air Assault Brigade, part of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces, carried out a precise strike on the enemy vehicle.
As a result of the successful attack, one Russian soldier was killed, four were wounded, and the vehicle was completely destroyed.
It is recalled that Ukrainian forces eliminated over 800 occupiers in a single day.
Border guards also destroyed the Russian electronic warfare system “Tirada-2.”
