The Defense Procurement Agency has denied that contracting has been suspended
The Defense Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense stated that it continues to operate as usual. The agency assured that the supply of the Defense Forces is proceeding without interruption.
“Information is circulating in the public sphere alleging that the Defense Procurement Agency has suspended contracting. We emphasize: this information is not true. Contracting is proceeding as usual. All key processes for supplying the Defense Forces are proceeding without interruption,” the statement reads.
The Defense Procurement Agency emphasizes that it continues to fulfill its obligations to the military and suppliers in accordance with approved procedures and schedules.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian military presented the Pegas all-terrain vehicle for off-road operations.
On July 20, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Yevhen Khmara as acting Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have not yet received the Skyranger 35 anti-aircraft systems that Germany planned to provide to combat drones. Rheinmetall had previously announced its intention to supply these systems to Ukraine for hundreds of millions of euros.
