The Ukrainian Navy destroyed 11 Shaheds and Gerbers in the past 24 hours
Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Navy destroyed 11 “Shahed/Gerbera”-type attack drones. These are the results of the Ukrainian military’s operations as of 6:00 a.m. on September 1.
The Navy noted that the 11 enemy attack UAVs were shot down by Navy forces and assets operating as part of combat groups.
“The Ukrainian Navy, together with units from other branches of the Armed Forces, continues to destroy the enemy on land, at sea, and in the air,” the Navy emphasized.
Thus, the Ukrainian military continues to counter Russian attack drones, which Russia regularly uses to launch attacks on Ukrainian territory.
This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Navy.
On the night of September 1, Russia launched a massive attack on Odesa and the Odesa region. The enemy employed loitering munitions, conventional and rocket-powered drones, as well as other high-speed targets.
Over the past 24 hours, on August 31, Russian troops carried out 981 strikes on 57 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of the enemy attacks, two people were killed and eight others were wounded.
Earlier, Russia attacked a facility in Novhorod-Siverskyi.
As a reminder, one person was killed and eight were wounded in a massive attack on the Kyiv region.
Russia also launched a massive missile attack on Kyiv overnight, resulting in fatalities.
