In August, unmanned aerial systems struck nearly 60,000 Russian targets
Throughout August, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces struck 58,465 Russian targets. On average, Ukrainian forces destroyed or struck approximately 1,886 enemy targets each day.
In July, 53,755 enemy targets were struck. Thus, over the course of the month, the figure increased by 4,710 targets, or 8.7%.
“Since the beginning of the year, the Unmanned Systems Forces have increased the number of targets struck by +210% (27,759 enemy targets in January) and the number of personnel neutralized by +17.3% (9,381 personnel in January),” Madyar noted.
According to the SBS, 11,010 Russian servicemen were killed in August. The average daily figure was 355 people.
In July, this figure stood at 374 personnel per day. Thus, the average daily number of personnel neutralized decreased by approximately 5%.
The SBS struck 54 vessels of the Russian Federation’s shadow fleet
As part of Operation “MoLoChKa” in August, the Unmanned Systems Forces struck 54 vessels of Russia’s shadow fleet.
In total, 260 vessels have been struck since the operation began on July 6, 2026.
33 air defense assets were destroyed in one month
As part of Operation “PPOpad,” aimed at hunting down Russian air defense systems, 33 air defense elements were destroyed in August.
The total number of units destroyed since the start of the operation in 2026 stands at 263.

Power facilities were disabled
As part of Operation “Crimean Circuit Breaker Off,” 168 energy facilities were struck in August.
Since the start of the operation on July 6, 2026, a total of 349 energy facilities have been struck.
At the same time, the number of strategic infrastructure facilities struck as a result of deep strikes by the Special Operations Forces has not been disclosed.
This was reported by the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert (Madyar) Brovdi.
Madyar spoke about the UAS’s new tactics in the Donetsk region.
As a reminder, Russia attacked warehouses and energy facilities in the Odesa region.
Earlier, drones attacked Ozon logistics centers in two regions of the Russian Federation simultaneously.
Drones also struck Krasnodar, causing a fire at a warehouse.
Earlier, warehouses caught fire in Akulovo, near Moscow.
