Drone Attack in Kharkiv Leaves Five Injured
In Kharkiv, a Russian drone struck a residential area in the Nemishlyanskyi district. The attack injured five people and damaged houses and outbuildings, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported on Telegram.
According to the prosecutor’s office, the incident occurred on April 4 at approximately 9:15 a.m. Investigators say the Russian drone targeted a private residential sector. “Three men, aged 39, 64, and 70, were injured. Two women suffered acute stress reactions,” the statement said.

The strike damaged homes, utility buildings, and a vehicle. Preliminary information indicates that the Russian army used a “Geran-2” drone.

Local residents reported that the explosions were audible across several blocks. Emergency services and medical personnel worked at the scene. Investigations are ongoing, and authorities are verifying all circumstances of the incident. “We are doing everything possible to assist the injured and restore the damaged property,” the prosecutor’s office added.

Separately, Russian forces attacked Nikopol with FPV drones. The strike killed five people and injured 19 others, including a 14-year-old girl.
On the night of April 4, Russia attacked Ukraine with nearly 300 drones. Air defense forces shot down 260 of them, although some strikes and falling debris occurred in several regions.
In the Kherson region, one person was killed and 25 others were injured over the past day due to Russian attacks. Kherson and dozens of settlements in the region were hit.
