Russian attack damaged a tax office building in Kyiv
During the latest wave of heavy shelling of the capital, Russian forces caused damage to one of the State Tax Service buildings located on the right bank of Kyiv.
As a result of the enemy strike, the building’s infrastructure and offices were significantly damaged.
The extent of the damage to the civilian facility was quite significant, forcing a halt to normal operations there. The enemy strike resulted in shattered windows and the destruction of offices and other rooms in the building.
Currently, specialized services are working at the scene of the incident, and “cleanup and assessment of all the consequences are still ongoing,” as the agency’s head clarified.
Despite significant material damage and destroyed property, the government agency managed to avoid the worst-case scenario. None of the agency’s employees were injured during the nighttime attack.
The head of the agency emphasized this fact separately: “The most important thing is that none of our employees here were injured. And that is truly the most important news today.”
Due to serious structural damage, it is currently impossible to provide services to citizens directly at this address.
The official urged taxpayers not to worry about the necessary changes and to use alternative options.
According to her, “however, all services, as always, can be obtained at any other Taxpayer Service Center.”
For the convenience of citizens, the government agency continues to provide services as usual at other locations throughout the city.
Lesya Karnaukh reminded that the current Service Centers operate on the principle of extraterritoriality, meaning regardless of a person’s place of registration or tax address.
This allows for the rapid redirection of visitor flows to neighboring undamaged branches.
This was officially announced by Lesya Karnaukh, Acting Head of the State Tax Service, on her Facebook page.
