Throughout July 28, the Russian army continued to shell populated areas in the Kherson region. The occupiers used aircraft, artillery, and various types of drones in their attacks. At the time of the shelling, a 61-year-old local resident was on the street. The man died from his injuries. In addition, five more people were injured as a result of airstrikes and attacks by Russian drones on Kherson and Chornobaivka. The prosecutor’s office specified that civilian infrastructure sustained damage as a result of the shelling. Specifically, private homes, apartment buildings, a school, a post office, an administrative building, a warehouse, a route taxi, and passenger cars were damaged.

Law enforcement officials are documenting the consequences of the Russian attacks and gathering evidence of yet another war crime committed by the Russian Federation. “As of 5:30 p.m., it has been confirmed that one person was killed and five were injured as a result of the Russian aggression,” the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported.
