“Hatilo” battalion delivers a powerful strike against the enemy in the Kharkiv region

Fighters of the unmanned systems battalion “Hatilo” of the 3rd Separate Heavy Mechanised Iron Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully carried out an operation in the village of Kamianka, Kharkiv region, resulting in the destruction of an enemy stronghold.

This was reported on the Facebook page of the Joint Forces Group.

According to the military, this raid was not a routine attack but a carefully planned dismantling of an enemy shelter using modern unmanned aviation methods.

“Our drone operators carried out a complex operation. The enemy tried to hide behind thick walls, but for modern Ukrainian unmanned aviation there are no unreachable targets,” the Joint Forces Group commented.

Using a comprehensive tactical approach, the drone operators conducted a combined strike, delivering a significant amount of explosives to enemy positions.

How the operation unfolded

According to the military, the operation in Kamianka was not a standard strike but a meticulously planned dismantling of an enemy shelter, aimed at eliminating the occupiers even in their deepest hideouts.

Instead of a single hit, the drone operators employed a complex tactic:

  • Combined strike: a series of FPV drones was used to destroy the building where enemy personnel were sheltering.
  • Firepower: dozens of kilograms of explosives were delivered to the target, leaving the structure with no chance of remaining intact.

It is worth noting that fighters of the “Hatilo” battalion have long been a nightmare for the occupiers on the Kharkiv axis. Their specialisation lies in the systematic destruction of shelters, ammunition depots and equipment hidden in deep concealment, while minimising risks to their own forces.

The battalion’s operations demonstrate modern methods of warfare, in which unmanned systems have become a key tool in the fight against occupying forces.

Footage released shows the structure collapsing after precise strikes.

The “Hatilo” battalion has earned a reputation as a night-time threat to Russian occupying forces, as its focus is the destruction of shelters and supply depots with minimal expenditure of resources.
