Air Assault Forces fighters deliver significant damage to Russian equipment

Ukrainian paratroopers, as part of ongoing combat operations, have successfully used drones to strike a Russian tank and motorcycle equipment.

This was reported on Facebook by the 46th Separate Airmobile Podillia Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Units of the 46th Brigade hit an enemy tank and motorcycle equipment, and destroyed occupiers along with their shelters. We present a series of precise strikes against enemy infantry and equipment over the course of a week… A standout moment of the week was the successful drone strike on an enemy tank,” the statement said.

As a result of the operation carried out by the 46th Separate Brigade, enemy shelters and equipment were destroyed, as confirmed by published video footage of targeted strikes.

This attack was part of a broader strategy by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to employ unmanned aerial vehicles, which recently also included the destruction of a Russian Forpost reconnaissance drone in the Sumy region, costing the enemy an estimated $7.5 million.

The main objective of such actions is to reduce the enemy’s military presence in temporarily occupied territories and to secure an air advantage for Ukrainian forces.
