Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers eliminated 1,360 Russian troops and four MLRS in one day
The total combat losses of Russian forces from 24 February 2022 to 26 February 2026 in the war against Ukraine amount to approximately 1,263,850 personnel. In the past 24 hours alone, a further 1,360 occupiers have been eliminated.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost:
- Tanks – 11,704 (+3 in the past day);
- Armoured combat vehicles – 24,091 (+0);
- Artillery systems – 37,614 (+25);
- Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) – 1,659 (+4);
- Air defence systems – 1,305 (+0);
- Aircraft – 435 (+0);
- Helicopters – 348 (+0);
- Operational-tactical UAVs – 147,138 (+681);
- Cruise missiles – 4,347 (+0);
- Warships / boats – 29 (+0);
- Submarines – 2 (+0);
- Motor vehicles and fuel tankers – 80,064 (+93);
- Special equipment – 4,075 (+0).
Thus, over the past day, Ukrainian defence forces destroyed a significant number of enemy artillery systems, unmanned aerial vehicles and motor vehicles.
The General Staff emphasised that the calculation of losses is ongoing and the figures may be уточнені (subject to clarification).
As of 16:00 on 25 February 2026, Ukraine’s Defence Forces continued to hold back intense pressure from Russian forces along the entire front line. The highest concentration of enemy attacks was observed in the Pokrovsk sector, where 30 assault attempts were recorded in the areas of Rodynske, Udachne and Novomykolaivka.
In addition, special units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine conducted a series of offensive operations in the Zaporizhzhia sector, particularly in the area of Stepnohirsk.
