115 combat engagements recorded over the past day – General Staff
As of 16:00 on 25 February 2026, Ukraine’s Defence Forces continue to hold back intense pressure from the Russian Federation along the entire front line. The highest concentration of enemy attacks has been observed on the Pokrovsk axis, where 30 assault attempts were recorded in the areas of Rodynske, Udachne and Novomykolaivka.
In addition, unusually high activity has been noted on the Huliaipole axis, where the invaders carried out 22 attacks towards Dobropillia and Zaliznychne, seven of which are still ongoing.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
Border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions once again came under heavy shelling from Russian territory, with strikes reported in Senkivka, Bachivsk and Shalyhyne. On the North Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, the enemy conducted 11 attacks and shelled Ukrainian positions more than 50 times, actively using multiple launch rocket systems.
The situation remains tense on the Kostiantynivka axis, where the occupiers carried out 12 offensive actions towards Ivanopillia and Stepanivka.
On the Kupiansk and Lyman axes, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 10 enemy attacks, halting advances in the areas of Novoiehorivka and Kurylivka. On the Orikhiv axis, eight assaults were recorded near Stepnohirsk, while in the Prydniprovia area Ukrainian forces continue to repel enemy activity.
Throughout the day, Russian aviation struck civilian and military infrastructure in the areas of Pokrovske and Vozdvyzhivka, attempting to support ground units with air power.
Special units of Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence conducted a series of offensive operations on the Zaporizhzhia axis, particularly near Stepnohirsk.
The Russian Ministry of Defence also circulated another piece of disinformation, falsely claiming the capture of the village of Rizdvianivka in Zaporizhzhia region.
