From December 14 to 15, Russian forces suffered significant losses on the front, totaling 980 personnel. This information was provided in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the conflict on February 24, 2022, Russian losses have continued to rise, highlighting the difficult situation on the frontlines.

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army carried out 42 airstrikes, dropping 103 guided bombs. Meanwhile, Ukrainian Defense Forces have actively responded, including striking several targets on temporarily occupied territories on the night of December 14, such as an oil refinery in Russia’s Yaroslavl region.

The report states that from February 24, 2022, to December 15, 2025, estimated combat losses of the enemy include:

  • Personnel: approximately 1,189,470 (+980)
  • Tanks: 11,412 (+2)
  • Armored combat vehicles: 23,731 (+10)
  • Artillery systems: 35,105 (+64)
  • Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS): 1,570 (+3)
  • Air defense systems: 1,261 (+2)
  • Aircraft: 432
  • Helicopters: 347
  • Tactical-level UAVs: 90,777 (+653)
  • Cruise missiles: 4,073
  • Ships/boats: 28
  • Submarines: 1
  • Vehicles and tankers: 70,005 (+207)
  • Special equipment: 4,026

As reported by the General Staff, by 22:00 on December 14, there had been 148 combat engagements. Russia conducted 42 airstrikes, dropping 103 guided bombs. Additionally, the invaders used 4,003 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,703 shellings of Ukrainian positions and settlements.

Targeted strikes on key enemy infrastructure may indicate a new tactical strategy by Ukrainian forces aimed at weakening the occupiers’ military capabilities. The outcomes of these attacks are crucial for continuing resistance and restoring Ukraine’s national territorial integrity.
