Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminate more than a thousand occupiers in one day
As of 26 January 2026, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russian forces have lost 11,608 tanks in Ukraine.
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 1,020 occupiers, underscoring the continuation of intense combat operations along the front line, which has now lasted 1,433 days. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released these figures in its daily report.
Russia’s losses in the war against Ukraine as of 26 January are estimated as follows:

The situation on Ukraine’s front lines remains tense, particularly in the Kupiansk direction, where the enemy continues active assaults. Ukrainian forces are conducting operations to hold their positions while inflicting significant losses on the opponent. Further actions by Ukrainian forces will depend on the evolving situation at the front, requiring sustained mobilisation of resources and continued cooperation with international partners.
