Melovin's parents' house was damaged in a drone attack on Odessa
Ukrainian singer Melovin reported that his parents' house was damaged during a Russian drone attack on the night of April 6 in Odesa.
Melovin shared this on Telegram.
The artist shared a video showing the aftermath of the attack and expressed his condolences to the families of those killed.
He noted that despite the damage to the house, all members of his family are alive.
Odessa… my condolences to the families of the victims. My parents’ house in Odessa was also damaged, left without windows. Everyone is alive. Hugs to all, – the singer wrote.
It should be noted that three people were killed in Odessa as a result of a Russian strike on a residential building—among them a 30-year-old woman with her young daughter and a 53-year-old resident.
“Among the dead are a 30-year-old woman and her young daughter, who was only 2.6 years old, and another 53-year-old woman,” said Oleg Kipper, head of the Odessa Regional State Administration.
In addition, 15 people were injured. Among the injured are a pregnant woman and two children: a seven-month-old boy and a two-year-old girl. The injured suffered shrapnel wounds, burns, injuries, and smoke inhalation. Some of the victims are in critical condition. Doctors assess the children’s condition as moderate.
Information regarding the number of casualties is being updated.
In Odesa, six buildings were destroyed and dozens more were damaged following the Russian attack.
As a reminder, Russian attack in the Kharkiv region: in Malynivka, the bodies of four victims were recovered from the rubble.
